I have a confession to make. My name is Sarah, and I am a neutral eyeshadow palette addict. While some may simply see brown or tan, I see an endless array of nudes, champagnes, bronzes, and creams. Whether it's a matte, frost, satin, pearl, velvet, or metallic finish, I want it all. So needless to say, over the years I have accumulated quite the collection of neutral shadows. One of my all-time holy-grails is Urban Decay's Naked Palette. However, at $54, the Naked Palette certainly isn't cheap. And since my neutral palette obsession began, I have discovered quite a few alternatives that are comparable in both color selection and quality. Read on to learn all my best budget-friendly dupes!
1. Crown Brush Under Exposed Eyeshadow Palette ($22)
If you're looking for an identical dupe for the original Naked in terms of color selection and packaging, look no further. While these shadows aren't quite as buttery smooth as Urban Decay's, they are certainly worth the $22 price tag.
Makeup Academy (MUA) has a huge following in the U.K., but has yet to really cross over the pond in a major way. However, this crazy affordable palette with dupes for nearly every Naked shade certainly makes this up-and-coming brand worth a look.
Like the Under Exposed palette, In the Buff does a great job of mimicking Naked's smart packaging design. The shadow colors included are a mix of dupes from Naked 1, 2, and 3, which is great if you want a sampling of shades in the neutral family.
The Coastal Scents brand has a cult following in the beauty blogger community, and for good reason. Their individual shadow pans and palettes offer amazing quality at an affordable cost, and the Revealed palette is no exception. This workhorse of a palette has a dupe for nearly every shade in the Naked palette trio at a fraction of the cost.
5. NYX Nude on Nude Palette ($25)
With twenty neutral shades to choose from, the Nude on Nude palette offers dupes for the whole Naked collection. NYX is known for their high-end quality at affordable prices, so you know you're going to get highly pigmented shadows for your money. Plus, this palette has 10 gorgeous lip glosses to finish off your look.
While this palette may be on the higher end of the price spectrum, it's still $18 cheaper than Naked with comparable quality and shade selection. Nude 'Tude has a great variety of shimmery and matte shades that can take you from a work day to a night out on the town.
7. Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette ($10)
This super affordable and easily accessible drugstore find includes a gorgeous gold that is a fantastic dupe for Half Baked, along with tons of other shimmery shades of brown. It also has a few matte shadows in super versatile colors perfect for that smoky neutral eye.
